Lusophone Journal of Cultural Studies

The Revista Lusófona de Estudos Culturais (RLEC)/Lusophone Journal of Cultural Studies (LJCS) (e-ISSN: 2183-0886, ISSN: 2184-0458) is a thematic journal in the area of Cultural Studies. Published since 2013 in the OJS system, this open access journal has a rigorous peer review process and is published in Portuguese and English twice a year (June and December). From 2013 to 2016 it was published by the Universities of Minho and Aveiro, in association with the Doctoral Programme in Cultural Studies. From 2017 onwards it is published exclusively by the Communication and Society Research Centre (CECS), Institute of Social Sciences, University of Minho. The LJCS’ editorial board includes renowned specialists in Cultural Studies from throughout the world.

LJCS is supported by the Portuguese Science and Technology Foundation (FCT) and is available in the University of Minho’s RepositóriUM database.
